I simply despise, hate, and loathe pornography in all forms- and anime porn is worse, because it's so accessible to children. I wanted to create my own campaign against those sort of things... but- once I became established in the anime community, I realized that the definitions had been twisted- and truth had been undeniably obscured. What, ladies and gentlemen, is hentai? The TRUE meaning is translated as 'perverted...' but a certain online campaign has taken that, and made it into an umbrella: 'hentai is swearing!' Come ON, folks! Everything in this lifetime is twisted enough, without giving the entire anime community wrong impressions. I believed in this strongly enough to pursue it- so I fixed things- *shrugs* I simply grabbed those twisted definitions- and twisted them back. Adding my own little twists on the way. ^.~

"Twisted- the Anti-Ecchi Campaign" is simply against anime porn. Anime pornography. I do not believe I need to spell it out anymore. I do not care about definitions- would you believe that I have had to change this purpose page FOUR TIMES, because people misread between the lines? There will be no misreading again- and I will not change again. This is the purpose:

Porn hurts. If it's not abusing a woman or child's right- it's abusing the watcher- you're not true to your soul- or the souls of those you love. Anime pornography is even worse- because- even though it 'showcases' those who are not real- it injures those that it touches- mostly children. Like it or not- many children love anime. And porn is VERY easy to access through MANY anime sites.

We are not some stupid 'mightier then thou' campaign where we shove our ideals down everyone's throat. Some of us have never even seen the effects that porn has on people- some of us have never been touched by porn- and I applaud that. But for those of us who have- or hate it- or just DO NOT WANT KIDS NEAR it- then Twisted is perfect, ne? It's time to twist- again. We stand for- Truth, of course. And what do we stand against?... I think I've said enough.
